Comet Lovejoy & ISON
Taken by Michael Boschat on November 14, 2013 @ Picked up ISON in 15x70's no problem, it was near star HD111199 = 6.27 out of focus in 20x80's estimate ISON 6.1 as it was a bit brighter BUT a tad smaller than Lovejoy in same binoculars, about 1/2 diameter. took a gamble, gave 40 second exposure,f/5.6, 800 ISO and lens at 300mm guided with an old iOptron cube mount. - anything after 1 minute it starts to trail.
