Details:
It was a crazy show on the Alberta prairies this morning! There were three major displays that lit up the sky. At one point the Aurora went south past the Zenith and was about 20 degrees off the southern horizon. It has only done this a few times in the many years I have been photographing the Aurora. Fantastic display! It was chilly though. -22 degree C at one point. I was testing out new winter boots. They passed, with warm toes! Canon 5DII, EF16-35mm f2.8, EF15mm Fisheye and the Rokinon 15mm f2.8. ISO 1600-3200 shutter speeds 3-12 seconds. These images are compositions from time lapse footage that I will be displaying in the near future. Enjoy!
