Details:
It was a pretty subdued show until about 2:30 am(MST). Then the Aurora belt began to rise off the horizon and reach up the Ursa Major. Once it reached that visual altitude the oval began to close in on itself from both sides. A beautiful Omega display wandered back and forth across the sky. What a treat!
