Details:
After another day of low-lying fog and a grey overcast sky, at about 5pm the fog suddenly cleared and stars and a feint auroral arc could be seen. It slowly gained strength then at around 10pm it suddenly surged South & broke up into into a beautiful array of delicate rays and colourful curtains. Once again, Abisko delivered the goods for myself and the Lights over Lapland group in whose company I was lucky enough to spend the evening. Canon 60d, Tokina 11-16 F2.8
