Details:
Here we have an impact of some kind probably a strong solar wind but never the less the aurora switched on and off from 10 pm on the 22nd right through until the 23rd we stopped taking images at 430 am on the 23rd it was an incredible night at kp2 but bz number was south for most of the night letting the solar wind pour in through the gap in the magnetic field, despite the waning still very bright moon the aurora continued to shine through. Our guests where so happy and awestruck at the performance of the aurora that carried on into the wee small hours the following day.
