Aurora and Star Trails This photo is a composite of 75 frames from a 40 minute time lapse I set up next to this small pond in central Maine during the recent Northern Lights display. This image has been processed through Lightroom 4 & Photoshop CS5. Absolutely magnificent composite! The photo sparkles with the starlight, yet does not obscure the richness and depth of color behind it, which when reflected in the calmness of the pond, completes its balance. Have a profound love of the aurora, so hope you dont mind my using it on my desktop in a timed display of other photos I consider so beautiful.
