Details:
I travelled from Sydney Australia to Rovaniemi Finland to see aurora. Last night was cloudy after a sunny day. Today was cloudy and then cleared just before sunset. A faint aurora was visible but after 4 hours in the cold I started to head home and then at ~21:51UT a stunning display arrived. Samyang14mm f2.8. Canon 6D. 10 seconds at ISO 3200. The second image is 5 seconds at ISO 5000 and includes a meteor passing through the Big Dipper. The other two images are from earlier in the night 40km further down the road near Raanujarvi.
