Welcome to my home town Oestersund. It's located in the middle of Sweden at latitude 63° north. With a total population of roughly 45,000 Oestersund is the 24th most populous city in Sweden.
It is the seat of Oestersund Municipality and the capital of Jamtland County. Oestersund is located at the shores of Sweden's fifth largest lake, Storsjoen and is the only city in Jamtland.
