Details:
I set my scope up for viewing. Then just after 11 there was some dim auroras. I was surprised. Haven't seen any aurora in 14 years So I went up to the Lake michigan lookout point and took some shots. Things then really died down. After 12AM suddenly I noticed the sky really light up. I had auroras over head and to the south of me. Arcadia Is Just North of Manistee Michigan. Canon rebel T2i. Lens was a German made Carl ziess 25mm Rollieflex. I had no trypod, just a car window camera mount to use.
