Details:
Last nights CME generated storm gave Arctic Bay an Aurora display far beyond what we normally experience here. For whatever reason, even though we are in the High Arctic, we get little Aurora here. I believe it is due to our proximity to the NMP. But last night the skies opened up, and it was, by far, the most impressive display I've seen in my fourteen years hear. Timing is everything and luckily friends called me as I wasn't going out to look for Aurora until later.
