Here is my first photo of ISON. Not very good, but it is amazing I could photograph it from by backyard with all the light pollution. The brightest stars in the photo are about 10th mag and the dimmest are around 14th mag. So you guess how bright it is. This a stacked image made from 6 frames x 8 seconds each @3200 ISO. Using a Meade 125ETX OTA, 6.3 focal reducer and T3i. The black circle is about 4 minutes of arc in diameter. By comparison, the Moon is 1/2 degree (30'). This thing is still very small and very dim.
