Details:

This morning I saw Jupiter and the Moon. At 11:09 local time (GMT-5), I took some pictures of both celestial bodies. In one of my pictures, there is a white spot in the dark region of the Moon. www.calsky.com did not report satellite transits in the Moon at my location. I did not see planes in that moment. This white spot does not appear in the other pictures. What happenend in the Moon? In the picture Jupiter is marked inside a circle.

Sometime last week earth entered a sporadic meteor debris field , it is quite possible this debris extends all the way to the lunar orbit and you captured one of the brightest lunar impacts ever recorded. This is just speculation however, so do not jump to conclusions, it could very well just be a hot pixel on your camera, but very suspicious in deed.. There was however, an event which occured yesterday through today. This is all I can verify. I personally saw a daytime fireball , white in color that temporarily competed with solar brightness. I have reported the fireball.

It may be a closer object, such as seeds flying in the air. There are several more in the image, look to the right, a little above the circled Jupiter.
