Details:
A golden corona and amber diamond ring low above a distant ridge with vultures flying overhead us.
An eclipse made lovely by dust, smoke and atmospheric absorbtion - the Sun was at 6 degrees elevation.
I took multiple images with the same exposure -1/80th - using a Canon M5 plus a Canon FD f5.6 100-300mm zoom lens working at 300mm and 1600ISO.
In addition, I randomly rotated a linear polariser between shots (was too dark to see by how much).
I later combined 3 frames - to form an RGB equivalent and was struck by how polarised the corona was. The bright colours correspond to areas of the corona that were strongly polarised.
