Details:
while imaging the solar eclipse, i captured flight Iberia 1743 transiting in front of the solar corona ! as I was looking to the solar eclipse shortly after i just began, i saw the plane myself transiting the solar corona with 25x100 binoculars. i only realised lately that it was the famous iberia flight ! Everything match well, the plane was about 60km away, and Airbus A321XLR is 45m long, resulting in 2.5arcmin apparent size from my place of observation in Alarcia. The plane was 31000feet height (9500m) from 60km away that is 8° elevation, just the same as the eclipse !so not only the flight captured great images of the solar eclipse, it also appeared on the ground in front of the eclipsed sun ! i was located in Alarcia, the flight appeared shortly after totality. images captured with Nikon Z8 and Maksutov Newton telescope video link: https://hdr-astrophotography.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/tse26_long_horizontal.webp https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEphD5kq0ck
