762 Pulcova is a main-belt asteroid. It was discovered by Grigoriy N. Neujmin in 1913, and is named after Pulkovo Observatory, near Saint Petersburg. Pulcova is 137 km in diameter, and is a C-type asteroid, which means that it is dark with a carbonate composition.

Neujmin was a Russian astronomer working at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory on mount Koshka.
He graduated from St. Petersburg University (1910). From 1910, he worked at the Pulkovo Observatory, and from 1912, at its Simeiz branch, which he headed from 1925 to 1931 and from 1936 to 1941. In 1944, he was appointed director of the Pulkovo Observatory.
Also a lunar crater ( Neujmin ) is named in his honour. He discovered 74 asteroids, 6 periodic and 1 hyperbolic comet.
