Details:
A partial solar eclipse observed from the Jurassic limestones near Częstochowa, Poland. The perfectly clear, almost cloudless western horizon allowed us to see the very last rays of the eclipsed Sun. Here are a few photos of this unforgettable spectacle, taken with equipment that wasn’t necessarily professional (an old Soviet pair of binoculars, a regular compact camera, and a smartphone). One of the photos shows the eclipsed sun alongside the silhouette of the dominant Częstochowa monastery tower.
