Details:
The partial solar eclipse observed from Hertford, Hertfordshire, UK. Taken with a Canon 5D MkII and interval timer from the skylight of my roof. 70-200mm, f4 lens at around 70mm to taken in the full track of the sun. settings 1/320s at f/7.1, iso 200. At this location the sun was only a few degrees above the horizon at the end when the sunset colouring of the sun started to show. Baader Solar film was used to give relatively neutral colour rendering. Processed using GIMP. A few technical issue meant that I missed the very beginning of the eclipse.
