Details:
Tomorrow's total solar eclipse bear some similitudes (and some big differences as well) with the partial one of the 4th of January 2011.
On that -12°C freezing cold morning in Stockholm the gray cloudlayer opened just in time for less than one hour during the maximum phase and I was able to composite 7 stages into a base image showing a crystal clear sunrise.
From Stockholm the maximum phase is at around 80-81% of the Suns surface for both eclipses.
