Details:
Looking west, at about 12 midnight MDT (1 hour, 40 minutes after sunset) near downtown Yellowknife, NWT Canada. We're about 62 degrees north lat. Slowly shape-shifting, high level clouds burned about lower level cloud. Thought that at first might be aurora - but not yet dark enough up here.
