In the late afternoon on Wednesday 29th July, the Full Buck Moon was photographed rising above Cecil Kop Nature Reserve to the ESE of Mutare between 5.41 and 5.44 pm in a series of 54 still images which were used to produce a 12-speed time-lapse animation and two montages the more spectacular of which includes all 54 images taken. This moonrise took place just one hour after the exact moment of peak illumination at 14.36 UTC (4.36 pm LT in Mutare.) Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in sunset mode.
