Details:
Contrary to all weather forecasts, which were completely wrong today (there was neither the much-needed rain nor severe thunderstorms in my region…), the magnificent conjunction of the moon and Venus appeared in the evening sky. Shortly after the photo was taken, both disappeared behind a dense bank of cirrus clouds… So it was another extremely close call, but at least it happened. The clouds completely obscured any red and yellow hues in the landscape… The distance between the two celestial bodies was 3.7°.
