This morning, there was a rather striking contrast between clouds in the troposphere and NLCs in the mesosphere at an altitude of 83-85 km. While the tropospheric clouds somewhat obscured the view of the NLCs, I found the contrast quite impressive. Taken from Lerchenberg hill near Börnchen.
