I was watching TV and at the same time watching the skycam live when all of a sudden I see a bright meteor just above the hills near my home. I later found out by the local astronomy club that this was an Alpha Capricornid meteor. I also read that some of these meteors can be very bright and colorful. The peak of the shower should be around July 30th so I still have a chance of capturing more of these in the coming weeks ahead. I included an enhanced version of the stacked frames using Google Gemini. It did do a good job in slightly enhancing the stacked image. Not sure if its ethical, but it is pleasant to look at.
