Heard about the fast moving asteroid on Space Weather.com and decided I would give it a try with a Seestar S50. Observing conditions were not great as there were moving clouds, whispy haze, and occasional gaps. By default the Seestar was stacking images, which could blur out and remove any sign of the asteroid as I found in early exposure attempts when it was clearer. During the exposure, shown here, I could see on my mobile phone, a star-like point in the top left moving on each 10 sec stack exposure. I stopped the stack after nearly 3 min as the trail was fading, with the stacking) and cloud was encroaching. This is what I caught - I presume it is the asteroid? - it seemed slightly offset in declination from the JPL Horizon predictions, even after using my geographical coordinates in the calculations.
