On a clear night Venus and Jupiter shone brightly over an apartment building in Brooklyn, New York. The planets are moving towards a conjunction on May 8. Also shown in the photo is Mercury shining dimly to the right of the building. Jupiter and Venus are in the constellation Gemini. Pollux (left) and Castor (right) shone above Jupiter. The photo was taken with an iPhone 12 through a double pane window.
