Details:
323 Brucia is a stony S-type asteroid and a former Mars-crosser located in the inner region of the main asteroid belt.
Discovered by German astronomer Max Wolf in 1891, it holds the historic distinction of being the very first asteroid
identified through the use of astrophotography.
He was the chairman of astronomy at the University of Heidelberg and director of the Heidelberg-Königstuhl State Observatory
from 1902 until his death in 1932.

M 12 is about 16 400 light-years away. ( Compared to M 13, 24 000 light-years away ).
It was discovered by the French astronomer Charles Messier on May 30, 1764.
