Details:
On the lunar limb the crater Humboldt is located, and the foreshorting effect is evident if compared with zenithal view (e.g. Clementine 1500 nm imagery, in the insert). The image taken on May 23 2026 with a Mak Cassegrain 18 cm displays rilles and dark patches on the floor, being lunar pyroclastic deposits well imaged and located near the walls to the northeast, northwest, and southeast.
