Details:
In the evening of April 22nd, Jupiter and the Waxing Crescent Moon were among passing clouds high above Venus which remained close to the horizon near Transmitter Hill. As a twilight gave way to darkness numerous stars of the Gemini and Orion Constellations appeared which enabled a beautiful time-lapse animation to be produced in which Jupiter and the Moon with Pollux and Castor in the Gemini Constellation are being encroached by passing clouds. The Orion Constellation with the Red Giant star Betelgeuse is nearby and Venus (lower left) shines bright near Transmitter Hill. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in manual and sunset exposure modes.
