Details:
Comet C/2025 R3 PanSTARRS rises at dawn on Friday 4/17 (a little right of the cross) beyond the Mission San Xavier del Bac, south of Tucson. The comet was faint in the twilight and not visible to the naked eye.
Established by Eusebio Francisco Kino, the mission dates from 1797 and is the oldest European structure in Arizona.
