Details:
After many failed attempts and based on the weather forecast, this might have been my one and only good shot of imaging Comet C/2025 R3 (PANSTARRS) with clear skies from Missouri. As always the "Starlink Zone of Maximum Reflection" appeared right in front of the comet. Had it been 10 or so degrees either side then I would have been fine. Stacking helped alleviate the Sats but they're still there.
With my old eyes, I could not see the comet naked eye. I could see it easily in 7X50 Binos with maybe 5 degrees of tail. My deep image with maximum processing shows the tail extending up into Pegasus about 15 degrees as measured on Stellarium.
This was a fun morning. Conditions were good and equipment cooperated.
Nikon D750 with Nikkor 50mm f/1.2 AiS at f/2 & f/2.8. ISO 1600-2500 with 10 X 30-Second Exposures Tracked and Stacked.
