Details:
Captured today before dawn, the rays system of Carroll is seen as the bright streak parallel to the limb signaled by the line. The crater itself is not visible, a difficult task indeed since it sits in the inner slope of Einstein“s rim. Next april 13 and 14 will be good days for another try with more favourable W libration (but less N libration) and lower illumination angle. Of note are the broad rays of Ohm crater coming from the farside and converging with those of Glushko at north (right) of Aristarchus. Newt 8", 1/125s ISO100
