Comet Pan-STARRS has now reached the point in its orbit closest to the Sun, where it is beginning to produce beautiful jets. To capture the fine details, we processed only three individual images, each with an exposure time of 150 seconds. Gerald Rhemann will present a color image tomorrow. Today, we have the black-and-white image.
