WINTER HEXAGON
✨ Do you know what lies around Orion? ✨
In the winter sky, besides the constellation Orion itself, we can also find the so-called Winter Hexagon – one of the most prominent and beautiful asterisms in the night sky.
It is formed by six bright stars:
⭐ Sirius
⭐ Procyon
⭐ Pollux
⭐ Capella
⭐ Aldebaran
⭐ Rigel
At its center shines Orion itself, with its distinctive red star Betelgeuse – if it were located in place of the Sun, its diameter would extend all the way to Jupiter. And this time, Jupiter itself added to this beautiful celestial scene.
Do you also love the winter night sky? 🙂
