If Comet MAPS doesn’t survive its run around the Sun, we’ll at least have this comet to look forward to in the near future. C/2025 R3 Panstarrs is well on its way to becoming a beautiful object, at least for photographers. The image, taken under very bright moonlight, shows an ion tail spanning more than 1.5°. The image was taken with 11" RASA and Color CMOS 18x60sec
