trying to capture my first sprite that night after about two years of testing and fustrations I have decided to download intravalmeter for android setting it up alongside my camera to run for the following hour. Being dissatisfied while scanning through the images with full speed captured my eye saw a instance of a white line from the clouds, first I was convinced that it was only car headlights sense I stay accross a circle junction, I went to bed and about 2 days later I scanned trough that series of cellphone photos again... again spotting that beam on full speed scanning, this cuased me to flip back and forth throughout the 1400 cellphone pictures taken that night until I isolated the spesifiec frame of that beam of light, I was confused at first then asking about it within my local storm chasing group we have confirmed it was a bluejet, a few years later I posted that same picture onto the South African weather service Facebook group asking with uncertainty " is this a bluejet?" thay confirmed and thanked me for showing my capture to them, link to follow: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1KMxT4LLSp/ receiving recognition that it is a bluejet made me speechless in sorts, I didn't blow it up, or made a fuss about it actually kept it to myself and just posting on my page about it. Now I wish to share it with you.
