Details:
These are sunspots 4378, 4381 and 4384 showing umbral flashes on the 6th of March. The first video is inverted which seems to show the ripples over the central umbra better. The second non- inverted video shows the ripples over the outer penumbra better. Each pixel is ~217km wide so you could calculate the speed of the ripples. All playback is 600x real time.
