Details:
The planet was found east of the Sun by optical means 60° high in the sky at early afternoon. Venus is circulating at the farside of its orbit 248 million km away from us and displays a circular 10" arc disk. It will reach 50% illuminated phase on august 13th, that will be exactly three years after its 2023 inferior conjunction. Newt 8", equatorial layout south up, west left
