Details:
C/2024 E1 Wierzchose last night from a location about 20mi north of Payson where I can see low on the western horizon. the comet is about 9th magnitude, only 10 degrees up and fading rapidly. This was the last chance to see it before its gone. As you may know, it has been spectacular photographic object in the southern hemisphere for weeks, now we get the faded dregs. Lots of cirrus to contend with, had to just keep shooting 1 min subs and hand pick the ones for stacking that were not blasted by cirrus. It worked. I took about 55 images and got 16 good ones.
