Details:
It was 20 minutes after sunset before the atmosphere dimmed enough to spy a 3% crescent moon through hazy dusk. Moments earlier, the hidden moon eclipsed a pinpoint Mercury, barely visible here as it emerges beside the moon's right horn. Nikon D750 with 500mm lens.
