Details:
A 6x(18x10s) animation gif from 1242-1305UT on 2026 February 8 of Comet C/2026 B2 (Sun-Gao) shows the comet and its coma moving low in the southeast morning sky just before dawn. The FOV in the gif is 1/3x1/3 degree. This was taken with a small 50mm F/5 Refractor and IMX462 camera, the Seestar S50, so the comet is a lot brighter than some have reported. The image and the 2 magnitude calculations have the comet at magnitude 13.4/13.6. The comet has a nice greenish coma 0.9' wide, but no tail is visible in these images.
