Details:
While photographing the sun, I noticed a distinct dark structure. To verify it wasn't a camera artifact, I cross-referenced my photo with the latest SDO imagery (AIA 1600/1700), and the features align perfectly with the active region currently visible on the solar disk. Observation Details: Date & Time: February 2, 2026, at 16:34 (GMT+2). Location: Capernaum Junction, Israel (32.89°N, 35.55°E). Equipment: Samsung S21 Ultra (SM-G998B). Findings: The captured sunspot shows a unique curved shape, matching the western active region shown in today's SDO data. I've attached both my original photo and the SDO reference I used for comparison. I would love to get your official confirmation on the Active Region (AR) number for this group. Best regards Yonatan izik cohen Instegram @yonatan1041
