From my Video description on YouTube : This is the first of 3 videos from the awe inspiring Northern Lights event January 19 and 20 , 2026 . I stayed out watching this event until the sun started to rise This event had some unique aspects that I had not seen before. This video features a couple of those .. Video starts not long after sunset with nothing visible to my North not even a glow . The only glow in the sky was the ( previously unknown :) ) WSW Lights . The next scene transition is looking North. The lights West and slightly SW of me faded and "normal " glow to the North started.. I could see the faint red glow and a small area of green appeared . The video shows the tiny green area as dancing green lights . I have never seen such a small area of " dancing greens " before. This video ends with some dramatic Northern Lights photos. This gives you a preview of what you will see in the next videos including rare purple lights that I had never seen before . https://youtu.be/H0s4PyOiBII
