Details:
Towards sunrise the top of the aurora display as viewed from the CO/KS border, looking northeast, took on a unique blue hue that confused me photographically and was also visible to naked eye as a change in grayscale at the same angle (4:30-5:30am Tueaday 20th). Others have suggested this angled split in the lower purple against the higher blue might be sunlight hitting the top of the auroral display. Is this possible to see ??? Photos are chronological showing the blue apparition take over the aurora structure as dawn approached.
