Details:
Last night’s subdued auroras on Cape Cod, though pretty, were a little disappointing given the firmament frenzy in Europe. Tonight’s richer hues were a step up. As I was about to leave the beach, the sky exploded in post-twilight shards of magenta and columns of eerie red. Despite bitter cold and wind, I managed to capture these photos.
