Details:
I fired up my home built magnetometer in time to catch the start of the geo-magnetic storm around 1920 UTC on 01/19/26. I let run all night and now see that the Earth's magnetic field has shifted more into a negative region this morning. So things are still pretty active up there. Aurora is quite active here in Michigan in areas that are not under overcast skies due to lake effect.
