At 10:30 PM, just as I was going to bed, the alert came: Northern Lights! The most powerful geomagnetic storm in 20 years. I immediately rushed to my car and drove to Pointe de Corsen in Brittany. Upon arrival, the spectacle was magnificent. We had already seen auroras here before, but this was exceptional. The colors were so vivid - clearly distinguishable reds and pinks, with hints of green that are normally impossible to observe at our latitude. The atmosphere was magical, accompanied by the sound of the waves. The auroras continued for much of the night, although much less intense afterwards. I also stopped by the Trézien lighthouse and the menhir to complete this unforgettable night. Shot with Nikon Z8, ISO 400 (taking advantage of ISO invariance), 15-30 second exposures.
