Details:
With relatively weak solar activity, the D layer of the ionosphere is without significant changes. Since the D layer of the ionosphere is dependent on solar radiation, its presence in the winter period is short. This is visible in the SID monitor records. One, clearly visible change is seen when the sunspot AR4343 produced a CME M 2.17 towards the ground and this generated a significant change in the quality of the D layer of the ionosphere. This is how it was recorded by the SID monitor RUDY BASE.
