Details:
I wasn't expecting to see the sun this week at all. The forecast was dismal with a dollop of no hope on top. A surprising sunny spell this morning got me outside with the dob and its 8 inch white light filter . Very strong breeze off the ocean made things difficult. Active Region 4294 - 11:57 UT - 12:58 UT . December 4th 2025 Killadoon Co Mayo Ireland. 14 mm eyepiece/ 1,200 mm FL / 85X Pencil on textured paper ( the only white sketch pad handy ) the drawing of this AR is not complete because dark grey clouds arriving fast from the Atlantic brought rain. Delighted to capture some of this massive train of AR,s on the solar disc. Lamenting not being able to capture all that I could see.
