Details:
In the early hours of December 3,2025 I noticed a whitish band arcing through the sky. I immediately grabbed my camera and headed outside. Was so excited to see this rare optical phenomenon!! It was recognizable as I have been fortunate enough to see on 2 other occasions in past seasons. I used an 8mm Cannon fisheye lens and a Canon 6D to capture the entire sky. Our temperature was around -18°C with a windchill of -28°C with plenty of those ice crystals in the air! I was sure to put a dew heater around lens and took a time lapse from 1am-5am showing how it progresssed.
