Details:
Finally clear sky in California to use iTelescopes 20 inch Planewave telescope to resolve the fragmenting Comet 2025 K1 (Atlas). The three large fragments are well resolved in this 20 min stack of 60 second images. Comet fragmentation and destruction is common, and is one of the more interesting transient astronomy events because of how quickly the events evolve.
